THE PROBLEM:

Zachary Bulwa, founder of Cure It On The Court came to me with a request to redesign the website to make it easier to donate, and get important information about upcoming events, sponsorships, and more. The old website was not mobile friendly, and had some bugs in the donation system. It also redirected you to Paypal and never took you back to the site which was problem for keeping users engaged.

Another key factor was updating the website. The past website required a call in to a big web hosting firm and updated we’re often bottlenecked. I suggested he used WordPress so after I completed the site, he could make easy updates down the road-and not have to pay anyone. I also set up a new hosting package for him and saved him about $250.00 a year.

THE SOLUTION:

I found a design that had the “donate” button as a seamless design so when people chose to donate, it would not take them off the site right away, and it would redirect them back to the home page when they donation with PayPal was complete.

  • Zach saw an increase in donations, and better feedback regarding the website.
  • More visitors to the new website.
  • The website now looks great on all devices.
